 This group is specifically made for Portraiture of a Photographic nature. "Portrait photography or portraiture is the capture by means of photography of the likeness of a person or a small group of people (a group portrait), in which the face and expression is predominant. The objective is to display the likeness, personality, and even the mood of the subject. Like other types of portraiture, the focus of the photograph is the person's face, although the entire body and the background may be included. A portrait is generally not a snapshot, but a composed image of a person in a still position. A portrait often shows a person looking directly at the camera." Member requests are auto-approved. -------RULES------ Hello all!   MEMBERS can submit 1 deviation per WEEK, (subject to whether they are accepted or not as this is not automatic and must be approved)-And can submit 3 FAVOURITES per day. You piece will require 3 votes. -DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR OWN DEVIATION TO FAVOURITES. -Submitting multiple images into different folders may result in your work being declined without reason.  CONTRIBUTORS and CO-FOUNDERS can submit 1 deviation per day and can submit 5 favourites.Please members AND contributors do not suggest your own works to favourites. It WILL be declined or removed. E.g. typical social networking ID's -Portraits should have an ARTISTIC quality. -And that something special, there are so many portraits nowadays, we want something UNIQUE, so only submit your absolute BEST work. -Photo manipulations are welcome, just as natural shots are   And finally we are called PhotographyPortraits, therefore we will ONLY accept work that is PORTRAITURE and PHOTOGRAPHY. You'd be surprised what people try to submit, therefore-NO dolls or figurines -NO buildings -NO still life -NO landscapes -NO Animal pictures Also look out for any ongoing contests! Thank you!
